WEBVTT

00:00:03.000 --> 00:00:05.380
So I'm closing my eyes and looking away.

00:00:05.400 --> 00:00:07.740
Shelby, can you take any card you want?

00:00:07.800 --> 00:00:12.480
Show it to everyone. Remember your card,
of course, and then put it inside the box.

00:00:15.540 --> 00:00:17.967
Put it back on the table and
close the deck very gently.

00:00:17.987 --> 00:00:19.060
I'm going to ask you some

00:00:19.080 --> 00:00:21.747
questions, and I just want
you to answer in your mind.

00:00:21.767 --> 00:00:23.140
For example, if I ask you if

00:00:23.160 --> 00:00:27.640
your card is red or black, you think it's
black, but you don't tell me, okay? And if

00:00:27.660 --> 00:00:30.880
I ask you if your card is a club or a spade,
you think it's a spade, but you don't

00:00:30.900 --> 00:00:34.360
tell me, okay? And if I ask you about the
value, you think it's a two, but you don't

00:00:34.380 --> 00:00:38.460
tell me, okay? So is it a 2 of Spades? Is it?

00:00:39.000 --> 00:00:40.000
Yes.
